Georgie is a Director and Writer who primarily focuses on strong female-led narratives within the genre of horror. Growing up with a love of all things spooky, it was no surprise that horror is what inspires her the most. Her work digs deep into the human psyche, mixing a penchant for the taboo with haunting undercurrents, subverting typical horror tropes and expectations.

Georgie recently graduated from the University of Gloucestershire where she studied film production and specialised in Directing. Her grad film, and first horror film, Neonate is currently in post-production, preparing for a festival run later this year. While at University she experimented with different genre's and mediums - from documentaries to music videos, to gain a wider array of skills and knowledge, before focusing on her main passion of horror. However, at the core of all her work, regardless of form, lies raw and real human stories.

In January 2022, Georgie was mentored in Directing on BAFTA crewed short Charlie's Freedom, which is currently in post-production.

"I remember when I saw my first horror film. I was about 7 or 8 and I snuck down to watch Halloween (1978) through the bannisters of my old staircase. Mum caught me, but let me finish watching it with her, this time on the sofa. From there my love only grew."

Georgie is currently developing a number of short film projects, some of which can be seen on the Upcoming Projects page. Alongside these, she aims to use Neonate as a proof of concept for a feature film in the future. She is also working towards being accepted for the NFTS Directing Fiction course to expand her filmmaking toolkit even further.

Films and projects Georgie has directed include: Neonate (2022), My Little Doves (2022), Deep Down MV (2021) and Pen Pals (2021).
